Email counselling at Helen’s Counselling Corner offers a gentle, flexible approach to support—especially helpful if you're juggling a busy lifestyle, feeling anxious about traditional therapy, or simply prefer to write things down. There's no need to schedule appointments or travel anywhere. Instead, you can send an email at a time that suits you, whether you're at home, on a lunch break, or relaxing in the park.
Therapy is a personal journey, and you’re free to share as little or as much as you feel comfortable with. You’ll always work with the same experienced counsellor, so there’s no need to repeat your story each time. Whether you’re dipping your toe in with a single session or committing to a longer-term bundle. This is your space to heal, grow, and be heard.
Please note that one email counselling session would be one email with up to 1000 words.

Many clients find writing in their own environment deeply healing. Sometimes, it’s difficult to open up to loved ones—whether out of fear of judgement or simply not wanting to be a burden. Email counselling provides a private, non-judgemental space where you can be completely honest, without interruptions. It’s particularly beneficial if you’re housebound, live with hearing difficulties, or find face-to-face interactions overwhelming due to anxiety or shyness.
Although we strive to keep things secure (our email system is secure), please note that emails are not encrypted. We recommend using a reliable, secure email provider like Gmail to help avoid any issues with delivery or delays—especially with older platforms like Hotmail or Yahoo, which can occasionally block business emails.
