Hello. My name is Helen. I have been a qualified Person-Centred therapist since 2022. The theoretical basis for my work is the belief that, given the right conditions, the mind can find its own healing by tapping into implicit knowledge and experience. My role is that of the facilitator, listening carefully and guiding this process where needed.
I attended Evesham/Pershore College WCG for 5 years and completed my degree in FdSc Counselling and Psychotherapy. Whilst obtaining my degree, I volunteered at Carers Trust Heart of England as a person-centred therapist for adults, where I still offer my support. I also obtained a certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling with 'Counselling Tutor', giving me the ability to provide sessions online positively.
These are some of the presenting issues I have worked with, this list is not exhaustive:-
